Judy Penny ’70, ’74 MA, ’89 PHD is the retired executive director of accountability and research for Guilford County Schools. Previously, she served as program evaluation manager for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, and she was formerly the president of University Research Associates, Inc. Her service to other organizations includes serving as board member and treasurer of the North Carolina Association for Research in Education, board member and treasurer of the Guilford County Coalition on Infant Mortality, and board member of John Gordon branch of the State Employees Credit Union, UNCG HHS Alumni Leadership Council, and On Track Education, Inc.

Judy Penny is the sitting vice-chair of the UNC Greensboro Foundation.
