DOLORES DAVIS PAYLOR ’79 has served North Carolina as a teacher and administrator for 40 years, and in 2018, she was honored by the state with a Marvin Pittman Champions of Education Award. She holds four degrees, including two master’s and a PhD. Currently, she serves on UNCG’s Guarantee Scholars and Human Environmental Science (now HHS) boards, and is a member of several other organizations. Her aim is to leave an indelible mark as a lifelong learner and community advocate for children, young adults, and families.
