ALAN OVERBEY ’86 is the leader of Kismet, a CEO/business owner peer group in the North Carolina Triad. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of Banyan Consulting Group, an employee benefits consulting firm operating in Greensboro, Raleigh, and Charlotte, NC.  He has served on the UNCG Bryan School of Business Advisory Board since 2020.  He was also appointed to the United Way of Greater Greensboro Board and chaired the Tocqueville Society campaign with his wife Lovelle ’91, ’04, ’08 MA. Alan and Lovelle have two sons and one Boykin Spaniel.
