Gay Bowman ’72 MA is the former president (2003-2004) of the American Medical Association Alliance and the 2009 recipient of the Belle Chenault Award for Political Participation, given by the American Medical Association PAC. She currently sits on the Alliance Health Education Initiative Board of Trustees, and she is active in several community organizations, including Reading Connections.
