Students First Campaign - Final Report Newsletter

From Chancellor Brady
students first success A Summary of the
		UNCG Student's First Campaign
Yellow seperator line

To our outstanding leaders and dedicated volunteers-

It is with great sincerity and appreciation that I share with you my thanks for the service, donations and enthusiasm you contributed to making the Students First Campaign such a wonderful success.

I began my tenure as chancellor with the outstanding support and energy of alumni, friends, faculty and staff members well in place. Although your collective efforts had already brought UNCG to $100 million, you didn’t stop there. During my first year as chancellor, it was thrilling to witness your continued dedication as you helped the university achieve historic fundraising that totaled more than $115 million.

I am very excited and thankful to know that UNCG has a thriving network of supporters cheering her on and working together to ensure that our university is well-equipped to serve our students and communities. In the face of serious economic and social challenges, UNCG can inspire and create positive and meaningful change. And you are among the great people who make it possible.

My deepest thanks go to our campaign co-chairs, Linda Arnold Carlisle ’72 and Norman and Sylvia Samet, for their stellar leadership and vision. And, of course, we are indebted to Chancellor Emerita Pat Sullivan, whose vision it was to always put Students First.

Thank you for all you continue to do for UNCG.
